This is an English translation of the Romanian original. The Romanian version is the legally binding one; if the two differ, the Romanian version prevails.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to all Manifolio customers and users, for everything that is stored, published or collected through the Service. The examples below are not exhaustive: any similar use that is illegal, that may harm the Service, other customers or third parties, or that is contrary to the purpose of the Service is also prohibited. We may update this policy to keep pace with new risks and with the law.
1. Prohibited content
You do not use Manifolio to store, publish or distribute:
- illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or content that incites violence or hatred against people or groups;
- content that infringes the rights of others: copyright, trade marks, trade secrets, image or privacy rights;
- malware, phishing pages or any content that deceives visitors to obtain their data or money;
- defamatory or harassing content, or content that threatens anyone.
2. Personal data
- You do not collect data through forms or
t.jswithout a legal basis and without informing visitors. - You do not ask, through forms, for passwords, full payment card details or special categories of data (health, religion, political opinions, biometric data and others) without a legal basis and unless strictly necessary.
- You do not use the Service to track people from one site to another or to identify them from pseudonymised statistics.
3. Security of the Service
You do not try to:
- access data, organisations or accounts that are not yours, or get around the isolation between customers;
- test, scan or attack the Service outside the responsible disclosure rules;
- overload the Service (denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated uploads or requests) or get around rate limits and plan limits;
- create accounts automatically or share secret keys in public code.
4. Use of resources
- You do not use the media library as a general file hosting or distribution service unrelated to your sites and apps.
- You do not send spam or use webhooks or forms to send unsolicited messages to third parties.
- You do not resell the Service as your own without a written agreement with us, and you do not use it to develop or train a competing product.
- You do not use the Service in a way that unreasonably exceeds normal use for the chosen Plan or that affects its performance for other customers, even if no published limit is reached.
5. AI writing features
When switched on, the AI features are not used to generate content this policy prohibits, to mislead the public about where content comes from where the law requires transparency, or in breach of the model provider’s usage policy. You review the output before publishing it.
6. Reporting abuse and illegal content
You can report abuse or content you believe is illegal, hosted through Manifolio, to hello@manifolio.com, with “Abuse” in the subject. For a notice to be assessed under article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, please include:
- why you believe the content is illegal;
- the exact address (URL) or other information that identifies it;
- your name and email address (except for reports of child sexual abuse);
- a statement that the information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
We confirm receipt, assess the notice diligently and objectively, and tell you our decision. The address above is our single point of contact for recipients of the service (article 12 of that Regulation). Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services write to authorities@manifolio.com, the single point of contact under article 11. Both in Romanian or English.
7. What we do when the policy is breached
We have no general obligation to monitor content, but we may check how the Service is used when there are signs of a breach. Depending on severity and risk, we may take proportionate measures, such as: asking for the issue to be fixed, removing or restricting content, limiting or suspending a feature, an API key, a user or an organisation, terminating the Agreement under the Terms, and reporting to the competent authorities. Where the risk requires it, we may act immediately, without prior notice. We explain our decision to the person affected, unless the law or an authority prevents us, and they can reply to the same address to ask for a review.
